co-learners at GSU
Dear Professor Rashdan,
Thank you for this gorgeous Semester.
I left my previous institution because I was in a situation where my safety was not guaranteed, and the school could not help me. I took time off and hid, but I wanted to finish my education. I came to GSU to hide in a crowd and start over, but I was plagued with fear and insecurity.
You have played an integral role in showing me that I still have potential and hope. This class is my favorite I have taken in my college career, and has allowed me to blossom into this new environment comfortably. You have my highest respect as an academic and a teacher.
Whether you do it purposefully or subconsciously, your style is conducive to productive learning. Thank you for allowing me to find myself again, and thank you for your patience, your understanding and your dedication.
Good luck with your doctoral studies, I believe you are a truly excellent candidate and that “Dr. Rashdan” will have a nice ring to it.
Sincerely,
He did an amazing job relating real-world events to what we were learning in class.
Prof. Rashdan was very organized and he took the time to record videos and explain the lessons to us.
He is good at breaking down subjects in a mirco and macro level and answers a lot of Questions.
I really enjoyed his teaching style. the powerpoints he showed in class served as his guide in order to teach us concepts by explaining them in simplest terms. great teacher
He was very knowledgeable and was clearly passionate about the subject.
He was able to create an environment that made students comfortable enough. He was funny and relatable.
Hands-on learning, spending time on topics that are harder to grasp, allow fair opportunities for students to improve grades, very fair.
He seems really down to earth. He felt like one of us and made him come across as more relatable and like he genuinely cared which I liked.
